Im planning to changed the color and decration of my sons room. He wants me to changed it in color sky blue though he likes yellow green. Should I need to put more pillow in his bed. can i put big stuff toys like bears or snoopy in his room, just like his sisters room, lots of hello kitty and a small stand for barbies i put it in there and it turned looks so feminine, especially the curtain i used is colored light pink...but for my sons room i still dont have that much better idea.

Anyone could share some idea?

I think Sky Blue would be a great color to paint a boys room. I think with yellow green you would have a hard time matching stuff. Plus with sky blue if he likes thomas the train or something like that it would match. Or else if he has a favorite baseball or baseketball team, you can paint his room in team colors:) Best of luck picking a color!

A nice bright color like red or orange or something that will really brighten it up.

I think the sky blue wold be better for the boys room.Have you ever put a border up around to top of the wall next to the ceeling? This would be very pretty, I have borders in all my rooms. I do not know what your son is into, sports, spiderman, racing, whatever, find a pretty border to put up.I would put alot of pillows to match also.Yes, you can still put the stuffed animals in the room.Good luck decorating.

How old is your son?
My vote would be for the sky blue. Blue is a very calming color and is perfect for a bedroom. A yellow green color (depending on the shade) could also be calming as well, but not as much. My son didn't want me to paint his walls, so his walls are a cream color. As for a theme or accessories, what are your son's favorite things? For example, my son loves Star Wars. When the post office Star Wars stamp sheet came out, I bought one & framed it & hung it on his wall. He also has Cars appliques on his wall and a Cars poster. His room is filled with all of his favorite things, Spongebob, plastic jellyfish, etc. On his bed, his comforter is dark blue and he has a Star Wars throw pillow as well as a bright turquoise mushy-bead pillow. He also has his favorite stuffed animals on his bed. Just go with whatever your son likes!

thanks you very much for the wonderful idea i gues i try to ask my son about that. My son is 6 year old and he loves cars too especially trains like Thomas and frinds.

My son loves Thomas too! You know those little cards that come with the trains? He had so many, so I bought a poster sized frame, flipped the paper insert over and glued the cards onto the paper (I lined them up 4 across & then went down from there), then put it into the frame. Ended up doing two of these. We had to hang them downstairs though once the Star Wars craze took over but he still loves them. It's always a win-win situation when you can decorate with something they already have, lol!
