What I did on my summer vacation...For those who are interested - Grand Cayman  

Yeah, I think no cooking or cleaning is the best part of a cruise. lol

The Alaskan cruise sounds amazing. I'd like to do that one day.

I don't think I had a favorite. I liked all of the countries. I'll share more soon.

It was a nice time. I didn't see any sharks. After we left one of the beaches, I heard my daughter saying something about hearing that there were sharks where we were. I think she was wrong.

There was a tour available from our cruise where you could go swim with stingrays. We decided not to do that one. We were assured that there was no danger, despite what happened to the crocodile hunter, but it still wasn't something that I wanted to try.

I'd rather swim with dolphins, but that was a bit pricey and didn't fit in with our other plans.

Anything that has fins and a tale is Jaws in my opinion. I would have opted to stay on the beach with a cold drink.

Yeah, it's almost silly. We live near the beach and when we go on a vacation we go...to the beach! lol

It is my favorite way of relaxing though.

Snorkeling is fairly simple. I'm not the strongest swimmer in the world, but snorkeling is basically floating on your stomach, kicking once in a while and being able to breath through your mouth.

If you want to be adventurous, you can dive down to get a closer look then you have to blow the water out of your snorkel before you can inhale again.

I've done it, but didn't do it on this trip. It had been a while since I'd snorkeled. I was being cautious.

Thanks. I appreciate yoru kind words. It just took me a while to be able to articulate my thoughts on the subject. It is a topic that comes up in the news on a regular basis here in Miami. Although the situation and I believe some of the laws are different for cuban refugees than the are for Mexicans.

You are lucky to be able to cruise almost once a year. Where have you been? Do you have a favorite cruiseline?

We usually just cruise around the Caribbean, miamilady. The Caymans, Bahamas, places you've been, etc. We went on Carnival once, but we've been on Disney Cruise Lines for many years now, since they started cruising. They are expensive and we are thinking about trying another line next time we go.

You might want to try Royal Caribean. They're pretty good. I've never been on a Disney Cruise. I heard they are awesome, but yeah, expensive. I guess you get what you pay for?
