This movie is one powerful movie. It starts out showing how Dan Millman is training in gymnastics. This is his whole world and he is very arrigrant with everyone. He can't sleep one night and as he is walking he comes upon this service station. Nick Nolte is there and is a service man but not just an ordinary service man. He does things that boggles Dan's mind. Like one minute he is standing in front of the service station and when Dan turns around he is on the roof looking down on him. He teaches Dan things to help him in his life. He calls Nick Nolte Socrates. One of the things he teaches is that change is a constant and there is nothing you can do about it. He gets upset with Socrates and starts doing wild things. One day he is barrolling down the road fast. Going inbetween cars and just speeding along. He runs a red light but there was a accident where he rammed right into the side of the car and was thrown over the car. He hit the pavement and shattered pieces of his leg. They end up having to put a rod in his leg. So it appears that his gymnastic days are over. Watch the movie and see how Socrates helps him look inside of himself and look for the strength inside. You will be inspired by this movie and if you have any kind of situation where you were striving for and something happened to change the road you were walking down---this movie puts things in there proper prospective. It is based on a true story and I was totally involved in the movie from beginning to end.

We rented this movie. I just haven't had time to watch it yet. Makes me want to hurry and watch it even more. Thanks for the critique.
