What's your criteria for marking an answer as best response?

What are the things you look for in an answer that would make you give the best response to a particular answer? Is it the most complete one, the one closest to your own answer, the most sensible one or the funniest answer? I still get confused in judging an answer as the best response. I know we're all entitled to our own opinions but I would just like to get ideas from you as to how I can pick the best answer. Thanks a lot.

For me, that's an easy one. If I'm reading through my discussion's and suddenly break out into laughter, it's a sure sign that I've located the best response. I love people that make me laugh.
Other times, I'll automatically give the best response to the nearest My Lot celebrity. If you're new to My Lot you may not recognize the celebrities. These are the power players. They're tried and true friends and strangely influencial. I'm not convinced that you have to be on their good side. But, it couldn't hurt. Most times they give really good answers anyway, so it's a real no-brainer.
Sometimes I give out the best response when I want someone to be my friend on My Lot. The best response helps the person with their rating and perhaps increases income. It's my show way of showing support. Most people return the favor by returning to future discussions and that helps me out.
And, if I can't still decide, I'll give best response to my best friend! She never fails to show up to my discussions, even when they're totally dumb. She takes time out of her schedule to listen to my bologna everyday. She puts up with me. She doesn't judge. And, she's been my good luck charm! What more could a girl ask for?
