Do any of you have any experience with DeVry University, or technical school? If he completes his chosen course, he will have a bachelors degree, as well as career training. My questions are, how are they on financial aid, and how are they at helping graduates find a job. I recognis that htis discussion will be limited to US members, but I really want to know.

Hello gerty. I don't live in the US but I would love to mess your discussion, LOL. How are you now? I have been laying low still since my recent fiasco. So there are some US Colleges that help the graduates to seek for a job. That sounds cool. I wish we have that kind of system too. Unemployment is getting higher and higher nowadays.

A lot of technical and vocational schools offer job placement services. It is a good deal when it works out.

I have heard of this school but do not know anyone that has any experience with it. You are wise to check out the questions that you mentioned. I think most schools are great about the financial aid but when it comes to getting a job, many fall short in that area. My Son In Law when to 4 years at a local University and majored in Chemistry. He then went to WV Tech and got a degree in Chemical Engineering. They were great about helping the graduates get jobs. They acturally had the people who were doing the hiring come to the school and do interviews. My son in law was offered a great job with good benefits at his first interview. So that matters alot
