Aliens-Part: 2 "Sightings and Alien Abductions"or "I Saw A Flying Sauce, Sir".

Stories of alien sightings and abductions are legion. For decades now we have been hearing of alien sightings,encounters and abductions.Are we to believe them if we ourselves have not experienced them? But what if these stories are true?,after all these so called encounters are reported from many parts of the globe.One such story was about a South African woman who told of an encounter and personal relationship with an alien named Akon. (No,no,not the famous Singer/Songwriter Akon)We will not go into great detail here because this story is so big and the lady has already written a book about it.This woman says that she contacted this spaceman via telepathic communication and had many conversations with him.In 1956,she asked Akon to land his spaceship on Earth so that she may go on board the craft.Standing on a hill on the farm where she lived,she saw the spaceship hovering above.It landed and she was summoned aboard.This was their first personal encounter.Akon invited her to go and live with him on his home planet and she agreed.The next year,1957,she left and became resident on his planet.In due course,she fell pregnant with his child,a boy whom they named Ayling.After some years she found that she could no longer withstand their world's atmospheric pressure and returned to Earth to live.Their son still lives with his Father on that planet.Could this story be true? or was this woman hallucinating,the mind can play fascinating tricks on a person.There are many more such fantastic stories going around.Sightings of little people with stun ray guns,strange lights in the skies at night and of course,Flying Saucers,or is really "Flying Sauce"Pranksters from around the world just could'nt resist doing their bit in the way of sensationalism and had a ball creating their own versions of spaceship sightings.Some even threw hub caps and pie dishes into the air and photographed them.The resulting photos looked like there were flying saucers in the sky.Some of these creations approach the skills of a movie special effects expert.One such incident happened right in my own home town.One Winter during the mid 1970s,our local morning newspaper began printing reports of flashing red and green lights in the night skies.These lights moved at great speed and would appear over various areas in and around the city within seconds.Most city residents especially the ones that saw this were convinced that it was a space craft.However, after some weeks went by, two local teenaged brothers claimed responsibility.They appeared in the newspaper,revealing how they had gone about making and launching their "Flying Saucer"To put it briefly,they constructed a tubular contraption out of a plastic refuse bag with a tin receptacle fixed just below the opening.They placed rags soaked in methylated spirits on the tin receptacle and when it was ignited the resulting fumes entered the tube and lifted it skyward.The tube was extremely light,so the slightest breeze could flash it around the sky to different areas in seconds.I cannot recall how they did the red and green lights,but I think it had something to do with using colored tissue paper.Upon learning of this revelation I assume that while some people were relieved to know that they did'nt have to confront an alien invasion,others might well have been disappointed at not having the experience of a lifetime.All in all we still wonder,are there aliens visiting us ? maybe already living here?.......Dont miss the final chapter of Aliens Part 3 "Are they already here?" coming soon to a computer screen near you.
