Are you kidding? There is no comparison between the two cars. From the one hand you have SLR, a half million euros ( more like 600,000 euros ) dream car with a 5.5 L supercharged AMG V8 engine that cranks out 617 hp. 0-100kmh ( or 0-60mph ) in only 3.8 secs. And from the other hand you have an SLK. SLK is just another car. The AMG version of the SLK is a powerful machine but still not an SLR. SLR is like a legend. SLK is just a sports coupe.

Hello brunofortes,
I hope that your joking with this question because if you ask any normal person this question they will all say SLR.
Classified as a sports car and compared to cars like the Porsche Carrera GT and Enzo Ferrari, the presence of the automatic gear box, front mid-engined arrangement and its driving characteristics lead some commentators to classify the SLR McLaren as a Super GT whose closer rivals are the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish and Ferrari 599 GTB.
SLR stands for "Sport, Leicht, Rennsport" (sport, light, racing). Mercedes-Benz has stated that they will build 3500 SLRs in a span of 7 years, with an annual production of only 500 cars. The car's base price is £300,000 (approx. US$495,000 or €475,000).
Take care and have a great day,
ScarFace.
