Modern rock Music Vs Old rock music..

The rock and roll music and rock music styles emerged in the 1950s in the southern United States and quickly spread throughout the country and then the world. Now, the rock and roll music and rock music have grown today,with electric guitar, saxophone and drums,etc..
Do people still love the earlier rock music, prior to 1950's?
My parents used to say, the modern Indian music, from films is not very impressing. Similar to this statment does your parents/u say that modern rock music is unpleasent when compared to old ones?

I fell that the old rock music is still the best.pure and original values!While the modern music is just upgrade it music instrument,to make it more creative and look have an improvement!Although, both generation is related each other! There's no modern rock without old rock music!
