spam conspiracy going on, does anyone know how to get rid of this crap????

A friend of mine just got a computer and 1st email account. She told me yesterday she got 10 junk emails and she didnt sign up for anything on the net. She has internet phobia. Can someone tell me how the H*ll these darn companies get your email? Everyone promises "your email will never be shared" blah blah blah. You take the time to unsubscribe from the mailing list and guess what, another one pops up out of nowhere! AGAIN, HOW DO THEY GET YOUR EMAIL???

Unfortunately your friend picked an email address that was already on the list.
The way to avoid spam is to not use it for anything but family. There are also spam guards. Just do a search for it.

I will try the spam guards myself, thanks. Yahoo has filters but spam still gets thru.
