Are All Paid Traffic Exchanges Ponzai Schemes?

I wonder if anyone can comment on this. If you've heard about paid traffic exchanges, you probably know there are a lot of them out there. And sometimes they're just set up on the fly and people upgrade to earn cash and never see a dime of their money. They just set them up, make all the money they can and then shut down never to be heard from again. But there are some that use their own money and have a lot of reserve income coming in to pay members. And they stay running for years and never have a single complaint about anyone not being paid. So how can you know the difference? Does anyone have any tips on how this can be done. After all, if they're promising a percentage of daily funds to be paid, the traffic exchange doesn't make money out of thin air, so it has to come from somewhere. If older members are paying for new members to be paid, someone is going to be left out. And if they put their trust in other surf programs that pay a higher percentage, they could be the ones that take the money and run and they'd lose the member's funds. How do you know who to trust?

Several months ago I tried about three of these and lost money in every one of them. I do not feel enthusiastic about trying any more. I think that they all are built around the concept of a Ponzi scheme. Indeed if there are not new members coming in all the time then nobody gets paid. That is the main characteristic of a Ponzi scheme. Traditional network marketing can survive on product sales, but these paid exchanges have no real product as who really looks at them? In my case I was a victim of the take the money and run from three different Paid Traffic Exchange schemes that all used auto-surf programs. Maybe there are some honest ones that use manual surf but I haven't found any as of yet.
