For all you smokers, what do you do when you run out of lighters?   

I stock up on packs of cigarettes, I make sure I have at least 2 packs all the time., Same with lights, I make sure I have a few stocked up all the time. I also have matches and a Zippo. :)

But in the event of if I ever did run out of any supply, I can go days without a cigarette.

This has happened to me quite a few times, my partner always seems to go to work with the new lighter or the one with the most fluid in it & i usually get 1 cigarette lit before the lighter he's left dies completely!
I don't smoke in the house so i cant use the stove but i have, more than once, used a lighter from the car, i just turn the car on so the radio is going (but not the engine) & then i push the lighter in & wait.
We have 3 cars but my good car doesn't get smoked in (i didn't wanna stink it out & we have a baby) so i use my partner's car because 1) he smokes in it when he uses it & 2) my 2nd car is missing the lighter!
I usually send the other half a message once i realise i haven't got a lighter any more & get him to pick one up for me on the way home from work!
I have tried going without the cigarette & it works for a while but i can only handle going without, for so long!

Well, i do the same thing just like you do. A match or if i can't find one too i'll go run straight to the kitchcen and light it from the stove. Take care. (",)

When I run out of lighters, which I did a couple days ago because I left my last one out in the rain.. oops.. I just use matches. I usually have some because the casino gives them out free and I'm always taking some from there. But if I don't have matches then I use the stove, like you said. I hate doing that though because it makes my face get all hot as I'm trying to light it. One time my boyfriend thought it would be a better idea to light a sparkler on the stove and use it to light a candle and then use the candle. He was also stoned so I let him go with it. He felt like a genius lol

The trick is not to run out of lighters.I bought a big box of these cheapy ones off ebay.There's like 50 lighters in the box so it's going to take a really long time to use them up.I hate having to use the stove.;-)

I have had to use the stove alot too. It is a pain in the butt but,it works. Now I try to keep 2 or3 lighter in my purse so I don't have to use the stove.

I used to light on the LPG stove to light the Cigars, when I was a smoker. I had a lot of bad experience of running short of the cigars and matches while stuck at home.

Once I had to walk in the night about three kilometers to the next city to get the cigars. Anyway, I quit the habit five years back. so I dont have the problem of matches and Cigars.

I've used my stove a few times. I also have a butane "stick" lighter that I use to light the grill -- it's about a foot and a half long and shaped like a match.

When I run out of lighter, something I do quite often. I use stick matches. I tried using the stove, but the bong water kept running out the carb and that stinks like bad body odor. Since then I started using wooden stick matches. I go through a lighter a week, that's sad.

I have used the stove before......lol quite a few times. I have not done it in a long time though. I guess you could run to the car and see if the ashtray lighter works?
