I have only read the first Harry Potter book, and half of the second one. Then I lost interest, but now I wish to read them all again, right from the start, because I want to see what all the fuss is about. So my plan is to buy all of the 7 books, and read them. Anyways, last night I was waiting in line at Walmart and the girl behind me was telling her friend what happened in the last book!! I was sooo angry! I just walked right out of that line because I did not want to hear anymore. I thought this was really rude.

Hello Dopey22girl, I can understand your anger. I'm closing eyes and ears in order not to know the final outcome of the series before having a chance to read Number 7. But cheer up: one major prove of Rowling's talent is precisely that the stories don't live only on suspense. Perhpas that's why so many people read them over and over. They touch a lot of mankind's great issues: the battle between good and evil, loyalty to values, friendship, coming of age... Concentrate in finding out how artful the author assembles different threads, and the many hints she drops on the way. You may also enjoy the encounters of a magic world that has essentially the same problems and errors as ours. Never mind what you know about the end, go on!
