I have seen them a few times on shows that look back on older actors careers. My Mom loved him and my Dad wanted to be him.

That clip has to be a classic. I love these old videos and I do remember them from the original show. Foster Brooks was absolutely amazing never saw anything quite as good as him.

Oh my goodness....I haven't chuckled that hard for awhile...thank you very much for posting that funny episode...I loved Dean Martin...but how did you know I also loved Foster Brooks!!!! I had completely forgotten about him and his special brand of humor.

My Dad was an alcoholic and Dean and Foster's dynamic was something I witnessed in real life. Seeing the funny side of some not so funny drunks growing up did give a lighter side to the dark humor of how Mom and I 'lived with Dad.' Our family really liked Dean and Foster...and I'm glad your post allowed me to take a happy break down memory lane.
