why do good things happen to people who are not right in their hearts?

This question mind boggles me. My son's father never paid child support to me. My son is now 7 years old and the amount he owes has risen to over $11,000. The government considers me as middle class (before taxes of course), and I dont receive any type of govt. assistance. Im dont expect the govt to help me in raising our son, but I do expect it from his father. Is that wrong? I found out that this man is going on a game show with a chance to win alot of money. How can a man that doesnt support his child, a man that depends on me to teach him how to be a man, get an opportunity as great as this. I went to college obtained a degree in nursing and still cannot get ahead because I have no support. When I need someone to help me with my son, Im paying them. Ive spent numerous nights studying with no sleep to get my degree, and your meaning to tell me that someone as evil and selfish get an opportunity like this. Is this the law of nature? Do God's children always have to suffer because we are not of this world?

The best rewards here are the little things in life, like your child's laughter, your hubby's loving look, flowers blooming, birds singing, watching puppies and kitties playing, learning something new or better yet watching your kids learn something new, having fun, making great friends... these are some of the greatest things we can experience in life.

I believe good and bad situations come to every one, regardless of their "goodness" or "badness". How can we truly judge what is "good" and what is not. Just because you call something good, doesn't necessarily mean I will. But back to my original sentence. Good and bad happen to everyone everyday, it's called life. I also agree with part of a post already written, that the best reward will never be found here on Earth.

It is said that the true rewards are not here on Earth. Every now and again we will experience good karma though, like when someone offers to babysit for free, they let you cut in front of them in line because you have two items and they have 50... stuff like that. The best rewards here are the little things in life, like your child's laughter, your hubby's loving look, flowers blooming, birds singing, watching puppies and kitties playing, learning something new or better yet watching your kids learn something new, having fun, making great friends... these are some of the greatest things we can experience in life.

If you were awarded child support from this low life in your divorce, contact the office where it's supposed to be paid, let them know you need assistance to collect the money he owes. They're supposed to make sure that support gets paid. Good luck to you. And if he wins BIG on a game show, get what he owes you...even if you have to give part of it to an attorney to help you.
