You know, I keep telling myself I am going to cut my carbs again...but I keep running into situations that stop me from doing that. Like...I get hungry. ha ha I don't eat a lot of meats anyways. But the breads and potatoes get me. So...I am hoping that as stress lessens, I will be able to cut my carbs. But when I am depressed and stressed, don't ask me to cut my foods.

I can understand.Unfortunately all the food that taste great and you love are branded bad by the sadistic dietitians. What do we do?

I'm becoming a "mostly" vegetarian. lol. I eat vegetables, fruits, beans and nuts for most of the day and allow myself a small portion of chicken, turkey, fish or eggs for supper. It works really well and I've lost a lot of weight and improved my health eating this way.

You are what you eat.So food is medicine and medicine is the food as you grow older. You have taken a wise decision.

Thank you. I'm pretty happy with the way I've been doing things. I lost 100 lbs 2 years ago, and then I got side-tracked by life and started eating badly again as I was on the road all the time and too busy with things to worry about proper nutrition. So I gained about 13 lbs. I started up again 2 weeks ago, and have lost over 6 lbs already. :)

I am a very bad eater i mean i dont include much vegetables to my food. But slowly iam improving in this aspect to add some nutritious vegetables to improve my health as iam prone to fall sick often and it takes some days to gain strength from illness. Iam taking more and more greens and eating lot of carrot in raw form.

That is good.I assume that you are a non vegetarian who takes only a little portion of vegetables.Do take plenty of vegetables and fruits along with your meat and fish. They are really good.

I was a total vegetarian (for the most part, lol) for the majority of my life, but I started eating chicken regularly in highschool. When I got pregnant, I was a little anemic, so I started red meat. My son's about a year now, so I'm going to cut out the red meat, except on holidays like Independence Day and Juneteenth. I fee so much better when I'm not eating so much of it, probably b/c I'm still not accustomed to it. That just means I'm going to have to bring back the iron pills, lol. Oh well. My son likes steak though.... Blessed Be

You seem to have good control over the food you eat.The vegetarians miss B12 vitamins which can be compensated with an occasional meat.
