what's the longest time you waited? What did you do?

You won't believe this..I reserved a flight at our local airline last monday and was given a deadline to purchased the ticket today at 1PM.So I was there at thier office around 12:30 noon, without even having lunch because I want to be there before the deadline.
I got my ticket 3:55 PM!!!!So basically I was there sitting and waiitng for nearly 4 hours.What a SERVICE! All the customers are fuming mad because of the slow service and few people at thier counter.
I can't believe I waited that long, good thing they have television set but still I think that's too much time wasted for just 1 ticket.
Something like this happened to you before? what did you do?

4 hours? That is really a long time has been wasted. I remember the longest time I waited in the hairdresser was 1 hour. I hold my temper and waited for her, as she is one of the best locally. And I really need a good haircut so that I could attend a special event. But after that, I sacked her once find someone is as good as her. I am sorry my time is precious.

There was a time when i went to the bank early in the morning. ANd when i get inside,the bank was so full and there were only 2 tellers entertains the customers and they were so slow. I went there at 8:30 in the morning and finished my transactions at 4 in the afternoon. That was a long day for me.

I was waiting for 4 1/2 hours at Bangalore railway station to receive my wife and son who had gone to her parents house, some 700 kms from Bangalore. After reaching the station, there was an announcement that the train will be late by 2 hours. After 2 hours, they announced that the train will be further delayed by another 1 1/2 hours. By the time the train arrived, there was so much commotion, it took another 1 hour or so to get out of station to get in our car. The delay was due to derailment of another goods train on the way and to clear the track it took so much of time.

I travel by train mostly, one day when i reached station 10 minutes prior to schedule departure, i saw the train leaving, it was impossible, a train can't go before time, on inquiry i knew it was previous day's train, this means it was 24 hours late.

This is really strange. This is the first time i an hearing an train late by 24 hours. If the train is late by 24 hours then what is the need of it.

Once i was having an appointment at a dental doctor to consult my teeth. As per her appointment i was asked to reach the hospital at 9 am. So as per her appointment i reached there at 8:50 and i was there without my breakfast. I took all my efforts to get there on time but the doctor was too late. She reached the hospital at 11 and had the appointment at 11:40, which means she is late about 2 hours and 40 minutes. I was well bored and i had to sit on the chairs simply for hours. Time is so precious and i had wasted those valuable time in my life.

I went to a bank to open a an account. I went there at 9:00 am and I finished at 12:00 noon. I was not expecting opening a bank account took so long. Perhaps it's because there services is very slow...

It was during my college admission where i had to wait for more than 3 hours in a long queue to get my admission.Oops such a long wait along with my dad.Actually only the students alone required to verify the documents for getting the admission.
For quite some time i looked around my college as it was the first time i went there to pay fees as my dad did all application submission work prior without troubling me..Good dad..is it not?
I decided to go around the premises and made my dad stand in the queue for a while.Then back in the queue and got my work done and after reaching home i felt the pain in my legs.
