What is BBB online certificate?

BBB is the Better Business Bureau. They check on business to make sure they are legitimate, both online and off. They also document any complaints made against a business and note (for public info) whether the complaints are valid or not etc. Basically, they are there to assist the consumers in knowing what businesses to trust and which might be bad news. I think if you see a BBB Online Certified it means the business has been found to be legitimate and NOT a scam. In their own words they are: "Promoting Trust and Confidence on the Internet."


If you want to know for sure, go to the BBB Online website. www.bbbonline.org. . Take the web address of the site you are wondering about. Copy and paste it on the BBB online site where it says to enter the site information. This will then pull up any information they have on the business.
