Are you familiar with the different types of woodpeckers that are out there?

I have taken a strong liking to woodpeckers as every morning when I wake up I would hear a woodpecker pecking away on a tree. I could not see it. After attaching a suet feeder to my birdfeeder, I get two different woodpeckers eating away at the suet. I get the Female Downy Woodpecker, which has white spots on black wings, white belly and back and has no red on back of head, unlike the male Downy Woodpecker. I also get the male Red Bellied woodpecker which has black and white bars on wings, back and tail, back of neck red, head and belly tan. The Easten region also has the Red headed woodpecker hairy woodpecker and the pileated woodpecker. Do you find woodpeckers cute or annoying? I am also amazed by the different types of suet that they will eat.

I've never seen one.
Well not in real life anyways, so I probably couldn't. I know a certain few, because once on a school trip we discussed what types we could see but there wasn't any. lol
