what was the best restaurant you've ever been and why?

I think that the most important thing about a restaurant is the food, if it has nice food then I am likely to come back again. The other thing that is important is quick customer service, I went to a restaurant once and it was really nice, but we were left waiting ages for food although it was not THAT busy. Maybe you could put surveys on the tables for people to fill in if they want that should give you a good indication of how to improve.

chinese resto..I love it especially when its"all you can eat". Sometimes we have to wait a couple of minutes before getting a vacant table!

i believe the best resturant I have been to is Lonestar Steak house. The flavor of the food and the amount that they serve makes it a great place to eat. You have to wait for a while sometimes when you go there, but they have barrels of roasted peanuts out in the front for people to snack on while they wait. And you can just throw the shells on the floor. They seem to have a friendly staff and make you feel welcome. The hostess is always there to ask if you need anything else. I think what makes a great resturant is not only the taste of the food, but the service that you get while there.
