It's not always that easy to forget past failures, especially when the present drags them up again in a different situation. If only it were that easy!
However, it's certainly good advice to live life to the full, whatever that might be! lol.

Why do they have to be kept out of sight? Would you not want to improve the way in which you dealt with that type of situation previously?
We travel through life learning valuable little lessons... not to put them behind us or in the back of our minds to forget, but to use as a lesson learned and an area to improve, surely?
I constantly strive to better myself... sometimes I hit up against a brick wall, or another person blocks my path... the toughest people will ignore that obstacle and merely walk through, or around it. Ok... sometimes it hurts, sometimes the sword is drawn, but we must deal with that, and move on, triumphant... even if scarred, for we have learned a most valuable life lesson from this battle and emerged the wiser.

Love does not ALWAYS end with tears. We should not let the past affect our present because no matter what, we can no longer do something about our past. We have to learn how to detach ourselves from our painful past so that we'll be able to get on, and move on for a brighter future.
