Aquafina bottled water is made with tap water! Then why do we buy it?  

This is the case with many bottled waters, and people do not realize that we pay more for gallon of water than gasoline or milk. I like my home tap water pretty well, but I hate the water at my primary job, it tastes sulphurous. I am going to get a gallon at the store for 66 cents and keep it in the break room for me. I will refill it for 33 cents at Wal Mart, from a Culligan machine that purifies four ways. I never thought of that before reading your discussion, thanks for posting, it is helping me get ready for back to school.

I drink tap water at home- It is filtered first- plus I have a fridge that has the water and ice dispenser in it- so a second filter- When I'm on the road I grab bottled water- so nice aquafina is only filtered tap water- No wonder I like it so- some of the other bottled waters taste funny to me- But yes why spend so much on water if it is only filtered water?

I never realized that Aquafina was actually tap water! To be honest, I never would've thought that Aquafina would use tap water. I think I'll probably do what you do, and install a filter on my tap when I figure how to. I'll probably purchase a reusable water bottle and use that; my only problem is washing it out, it takes forever to get the detergent out of those darn things.

A simple question: do all water companies use tap water too? I mean, if Aquafina reveals that they did, couldn't it be a possibility? This really changes what I think of those water companies...

I think its better to install a water filter to drink purified drinking water than buying water from market
