I usually prefer Japanese dramas to Korean ones, solely for the fact that I don't understand a word of Korean (except for "sarangheyo"= "I love you"). Would you mind explaining the basic storyline of Princess Hours?

well, actually, the story line of princess hours is: there's this snobby and uptight prince who is set to marry earlier than he expected because the emperor is getting sick. he is given the chance to propose to the girl that he wants to marry (meaning his girlfriend) but then when he proposes, his girlfriend turns him down thinking that he is joking. so, he is left with no choice but to marry the girl which is set to marry him. the girl is just an ordinary citizen and they are set to be married because the girl's grandpa saved the prince's grandpa way back, years before. so they kinda had an agreement that their grandchildren will marry when the time is right. so, that is where the story unfols and becomes cute and funny and romantic. actually, my synopsis isnt so good, i suggest you go search the internet for a better synopsis of princess hours. try wikipedia.:) | |

I watched that tv series, Princess Hours. I was some kind of addicted to it that I waited for the drama to be on air when it was shown here. I like the actor, Joo Ji hon but I still prefer my most favorite korean actor, Bae Yong Jun.

Bae Young Jun appeared in Winter Sonata and Hotelier. Those are his best korean dramas. I bet you already watched both. Winter Sonata made him famous and after the soap opera, people started to feel the korean drama fever worldwide*smiles* | |
