Meeting new people

I am very shy too, and I can only meet new people through activies really. Most of my friends were friends of my husband's before I knew him, and the newer friends that I've made since then have been people I met through work, or through religious activities, or charity work that I've done. I don't really know any other way of meeting people than to find things that I enjoy and then join groups or activities so that I can meet people who enjoy the same things. Of course it's easier online, and I have a great many friends online. Considering I met my husband and many of his friends online before I moved here, I suppose you could say most of my relationships started online. =p
