great snack for kids do you like or dislike?

I don't know about peanut butter and jelly with regular butter personally. I'm not a big fan of butter period. But I do dig some peanutbutter and jelly or fluffernutters...or just plain peanut butter. I also love me some grilled cheese.

I don't think that I would like grilled pb&j! I have had the same thing happen to me where I get the bread all ready and no cheese slices, so I have made them with pizza cheese or pie filling.

That sounds good. I've made grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches...very yummy.

Yes some times our disappointments turn out great. Its just like the saying, "When the doors were closed, God will open window." Everything has a purpose it could be positive, it could be negative. Its up to us on how we will take it. Well as for me, our food depends on the available goods. Specially in the kind of the area we have were market is too far and we only buy our food on the nearby stores who sells fresh foods. Most of the time we decide upon what is in the store. Though we have our own choices we have to let go of it. What matters is we eat and share the food together with a happy face.

That is a great idea! I know that sometimes like you I have found that when I am low on ingredients or items in my pantry that if I just put a few things together I end up with a new recipe I would have never thought about before. Hi 3 lil angles, it is said that the necesisty is mother of invention. So when we are out of something and we need to do it then we have to invent. It is great that your kids liked what you made but kids here espcially in my family ( i dont have any as i am not married yet) do not like pea nut butter and they would have real butter made of milk which they are quite fond of and i usually do is toast the bread and on one bread i put butter and on second i put Mixed fruit Jam and then stick them together and kids love that , though i must agree it is very fatty but kids play a lot and burn the calories.

I too have tried that before. Another thing that is really good, it fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. Its very tasty, just make sure theres something to drink :) And its good for you too.
