Have you ever in your adulthood felt stupid and worthless? When?

I'm going to be a mother of two children next year. But I often find myself stupid and worthless for not being able to make decision like other mothers or parents for my family and my own life. I'm not a brave person in the sense that I let people older than me make decisions. I always feel powerless in front of those people who are older than me. I meant respects but I done it wrong and it's so hard to change. I don't want to live like this all the way because I want to be a good person that my children see, not necessarily a role model though.
