at what age should you allow your kids to go on a date?

for me, i probably won't allow them to go on serious dates till they've finished school and ready to take on certain responsibilities. they may go on group dates any time, though.
the human heart can be restless as we know it, and kids with raging hormones might go into early marriage or something.
