 You know, the virtual toy from Japan which is the craze in the 90s?
Tell me, do you still own one?
The last time I've seen one is when I gave it as a present to my little brother about 5 years ago.

1.  herbalicious (369) | 3 years ago |  I used to have a Tamagotchi - around seven years ago. It was huge back then, and I was a lot younger. It was actually a pretty enjoyable experience, but not as great as Pokemon back then.:)
Anyhow, I don't think I still own one. I might have one lying around somewhere, but it's battery is probably dead anyhow.
I don't (think) I own one anymore because I lost my first Tamagotchi in my daycare and never bothered to replace it. I think someone I know still has one, but doesn't play on it too much anymore.

| 4. wiccania (2780) | 3 years ago |  I had one shortly after they came out. I also had a couple of gigapets. I liked the gigapets better. I was also stuck "babysitting" a bunch at an office I used to work in. People's kids would ask them to watch them while they were at school and they would drop them off at my desk when they got into work in the morning and I'd take care of them. Nothing like trying to get work done while taking care of a dozen tamagotchi and gigapets.

| wiccania (2780) | 3 years ago | Gigapets are a little easier to work with. They're more user friendly. Even with the instructions, the Tomagatchi were difficult to understand. Gigapets were also more familiar animals. As I recall, the Tomagatchi were "alien" creatures. The Gigapets I had were a dog, a cat and a frog. I believe they also had a duck, a bunny and a couple of other animals like that. | |

| 7. izathewzia (3493) | 3 years ago |  Nope, i never own a Tamaguchi. But I am very much familiar of the toy. I saw a lot of it especially when it is still a hot stuff among kids and kids-alike. Almost all the kids around me and the teens have it. I am amazed how the japanese people invented such a toy with virtual pet to feed and taken cared of.

| 9. mymelodake (892) | 1 year ago |  yes, i own the original, and the version 3 and 4, both of which may connect via infrared w/ each other. both are out of batteries though heheh my original is broken:( i dropped it and it still works, but the sound is gone. right now the latest edition is the version 5, but i'm not really inclined to get it.
