Would you eat anything past the EXPIRY DATE?

I would not eat anything past the expiry date and I would not even think about it.Everytime I go shopping in a supermarket,I always look through their expire date.Its a necessary step for buying food.There is a good saying 'you are what you eat',if you eat something unhealthy,then you would pay for it oneday.Thats something I dont want to see.

My wife and I shop at stores that sell outdated foods. But it's all bakery goods mostly. The thing is the dates are just a use for when to take them off the shelves. Most items are to be removed from the shelves a week before that date. So when we buy them they are still good a few days.

I don't get it, why you shop the goods which are nearly or maybe outdated?

definitely NO, I wouldn't buy goods near expiry date too. It's not healthy and very risky.Some say that those are still good after at least a week over expiry date, but I don't want to take risk..specially our health.
