I guess it all depends on what you mood you are in. I really like I knew I loved you. But I also know from interviews, that it was a song he wrote when we wasn't feeling those feelings. He had just separated from his wife at that time.

u cant judge a song as "best" or "worst".
it solely depends on personal tastes:
the song which i term as best may be ur most hated song or vice-versa.
SAVAGE GARDEN is one of my favourites.
i love the animal song(which is my cell phone ringing tone since i got my cell) and truly madly.

the song u r talking of "i knew i loved you" is also a fantastic one. i have heard it a lot of times.
it sounds best when u listen it when its raining. again i must repeat this too is a personal choice. i like it that way!
