Monday, August 6 Kendall and Zach learn that Spike is deaf, but his condition may not be permanent; Lenny threatens to kill Ava. Tuesday, August 7 Erica comforts an emotionally drained Kendall; Annie changes the subject when Ryan questions her about her childhood; JR becomes a hostage at the beach house. Wednesday, August 8 Babe and Amanda bond over their concern for JR; Lily and Ava share their first hug; Greenlee is determined to undo the damage she's done to Spike. Thursday, August 9 Erica gives Jack an ultimatum regarding Greenlee; Kendall learns that Spike will have to receive treatment in Texas. Friday, August 10 Jack is forced to choose between his daughter and his wife; Erica remembers the anniversary of her mother's death; Aidan brings Greenlee back to the scene of the car crash. It is unclear whether Spike's hearing loss is permanent. Greenlee finally admits to herself the extent of her own guilt. Jack refuses to give in to Erica's demand that would force Greenlee out of Pine Valley, both unaware that Pam taped their argument. Annie appears to have some knowledge about deafness and fears being hated as much as Greenlee if her own secret gets out. Trying to help Ava, JR becomes a hostage, but they are able to turn the tables on Lenny, who is apprehended. Posing as Stuart, Adam holds Jenny.
