so I had put an ad on craigslist looking for a house rent to to own. A girl emailed me from my area and said that her and her husband were gonna sell there house but would rather rent it to save money. She said it was only $650/mo. I was like "Great!". She sent me pics and it was just a beautiful house with 3 bedrooms and a fenced in back yard. So we are emailing back and forth about it and then she tells me that it's $800. I was like, "You just said it was $650". Then she proceeds to call me a liar. She said that she never told me that and that she wouldn't want to rent to me cause I lie! So of course I had to prove her wrong so I forwarded her the original email she sent me saying it was $650. After that she replied wishing us good luck in our search but she already had tenants.
It jsut P*ssed me off so much that she would call me a liar.

I'm so sorry to hear that. That girl sucks! Don't worry, you have proof that she's the one who's the liar since you have the original email. I think she got embarrassed when you forwarded her that. Good thing you had an email and not just a phone conversation.
I don't think she had tenants. And even if she did, I think they would not last renting her place because of her attitude. Businesses with owners like that usually don't last long. Don't worry, karma will come her way.

I thought the same thing too veronizm. She was embarrassed because angelface forwarded the email message right to her. The proof is in the pudding.
And she can't deny that. She must have thought that angelface was not keeping up with their conversations. Yes, it is a good thing that they both had an conversation by email and not by the telephone.

Hi. angelface. Ha Ha...
It seems like she was trying to pull a fast one on you. That is good that you came back just as hard. I am glad that you have kept a copy of the email that she sent to you. Right now we are dealing with a landlord that claimed that she sent an email to my husband's email address. My husband said that he never received this email at all. Then when he told her to resend this email, she then tells him that her computer is not working. Whatever!!!
Liars are the worst people that you can come into contact with. How can this woman call you a liar when she is the one that has lied??? Sometimes people tell a lie so much that they don't even realize that they have lied to you. What a shame!

Well, it is clear from the start that she is the liar. You had the e-mail to prove it. It would have been different if it was a telephone conversation, then it would have been 'she said' and hard to substantiate what was said. Just as well the deal fell through since you would only have trouble dealing with people who are not honourable. I hope you found a nice place after all.
