Two moons on 27 August
27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for......... ....
Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.
It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will
cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles off earth.
Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am .
It will look like the earth has 2 moons.
The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.
NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again."

Mars is approximately 422 million miles from the planet Earth. Just for conversation, the Phoenix Mars lander was actually launched at 5:22 (Pacific Standard Time) this morning, and will travel for nearly ten months to get to Mars. :)

| | Correct, this is false, and Snopes.com says every August that they see this email resurface and its false.
I would love to see that, and it would have made a great photo opportunity, however, makes you wonder if the people who wrote these, if they spent their time on something productive.
