Have you noticed that when ever there is war?

When ever there is a war there are new bigger and better offices and jobs created by the government that never seem to go away after the war is over? Republicans say they want smaller government, but they have a way of creating larger government while they are in office. They say they want to pay less taxes, yet they create all of these new government jobs that are to be funded forever. Do you believe a word that comes out of republicans mouths?

In the Philippines, there is always "war" going on between military and the Abu Sayaff or MILF. According to some military relatives of my friends, sometimes when they finally find the campsite of the so-called rebels, their official would ask them to withdraw without explanation. For the soldiers, it would have been a triumph already to finally find the campsite after weeks or even months in the field. They say, that actually there is an internal arrangement between the government and the Abu Sayaff or MILF. You see, when there is a war, the government can justify the big budget allotted for national security but in reality doesn't actually being spend there. Well, we can't really get to know the truth about this.
