Do you belive life has shades of gray?

I think you misunderstood my analogy; actually some things are black and white just as some things are good and evil and some statements are true, some are false and others contain elements of truth. Other things are, as it were coloured. People that see alll things as shades of grey have defective colour vision. all the best urban

Well, your discussion post seemed to suggest that everything was black and white or shades of grey. I think in fact few things are really shades of grey, most things are black and white or of another colour entirely. all the best urban

I'm not saying that everything is gray but I'm saying that there are shades of it not everything is black and white all the time there are times when things aren't simple cut and dry that is all i was trying to convey but thank you for your response.

yeah life is full of colors but i have a friend who is dating a lawyer and to him everything is black and white there is no varying shades of gray.. Unfortunately, he can't understand that she has an ex that has kids with her and that she has to deal with him for the rest of her life and so he can't see that shades of gray the she has to walk with her ex. Becaue they have kids she has to try and remain of friendly terms but her lawyre boyfriend feels that she shouldn't talk to him at all hence the no shades of gray for him ... I feel that nothing is ever black or white.
