I thought I would show the photo of the other bag that I made for my son. I just took the pocket off and recentered it on the bag. He wanted a devil face, and after much discussion about it, he decided that it would be too difficult for Mom to figure out how to do. (he was designing faces in MS Paint.) He's happy with the pocket, and he picked out a really pretty rainbow striped fabric for the lining. He also was frugal with his choice of a jungle print fabric for the straps. Such a good boy!

Thank you venshida. Yes, he does like it. He's shown it to every person that has walked into our front door! The neighbor boy even commented on it. :)

i like this bookbag that you made for your son i think just accepting a home made book bag makes him a very good frugal boy haha backpacks are so expensive now a days and they are so poorly made i remember when i was in school my book bags used to only last about two semisters before they got so many holes in them they had to be thrown away i love how you have the option for personalizing your book bag when you have it home made and i have found that home made book bags are also alot more durable than store bought backpacks if i were still in school i would definitely make me one
