the whole world is waiting for this. it will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. on August 27 when Mars comes within 34.65 Mill miles of earth. be sure to watch the sky on Aug 27 at 12:30 am est it will look like the earth has 2 moons. the next time Mars may come this close is in 2287 share this with your friends
Sorry hon, but this is an urban legend that's been going around for years. It's completely false. http://www.snopes.com/science/mars.asp I've gotten these e-mails every year for the last 4 years. The actual event happened back on Aug. 27, 2003 and yes it was very big and bright..... if you were looking at it thru a telescope. With the naked eye it was not much different than usual.
