OUCH!!! My bestfriend is falling in love with me??!!

Me and my bestfriend is always teasing, throwing bad words, criticizing our works, words, and behaviors. We always argue things, but in times of failures, we were always at our side to comfort. I feel comfortable with him although he is a guy, but I don't think I'm in love with him because he is not my type. LOL
I mean, we knew already our bad habits, weaknesses and everything in our lives. He even know my secrets which I thought could turn him off as a guy. But I don't know why he still love me. Gosh!! But I don't feel that I love him as a lover, honestly, its only for bestfriend. I'm comfortable with him as my bestfriend and not my lover.
What I'm gonna do? If ever I feel like what he feels for me, what should I say? I already told him that never i will be his lover. I had said something that I knew it hurt him. Now, we didn't talk each other. We have our cold war. Do this friendship over now? How about you? Do you have situations like this? How did you figure out?

I didn't know it happens in real life. I've seen so many tv shows and movies about best friends falling for each other, and they always end up having a happy relationship. I guess in your case it isn't so.
I know how you feel, because my bestfriend is a guy too. I never thought of him as a boyfriend material since I see him more like a brother. Maybe you should try to explain how you really feel towards him, even if it hurts him, since its much better than leaving him hanging and hoping.

It is really dificult. For now, we are giving space to each other. I think passing the time is the best thing to do to realize things.
Somehow I already did explain to him how I really feel for us and so sorry for it. At least he knew.

Yeah I guess I will....I will be losing my bestfriend if I will just follow my pride :( I honestly missed the bodings we did before. I hope he can understand my feelings too ....well thanks for the advice ayris...and thanks for responding too :))
