Has anybody touched your life in a special way?

For me, aside from my parents and brother, it was my high school teacher who left such an impact on my life. She made us read really good novels, made us explore ideas we wouldn't dream of exploring and renewed our faith in Him. She is such a brave woman and it never showed, not even once, that she is suffering from cancer.

I would not feel right giving that honor to anyone besides my mother. Although she was only alive for the first ten years of my life. No one has ever come close to having a bigger impart on me than she did.
She was truly an angel. I have never known anyone since her who loved the Lord the way that she did. It was an honor to be her child. There are only two more people in the world who can say this and totally agree with me. My two older sisters. We had an incredible mother.
Last mother's day, we had the honor of speaking about her at our church during a tea party that took place the day before mother's. People are still coming up to us and saying what a blessing it was to hear about her.

One of my music teachers in high school. Mr. Paul. He was great. He really cared. He knew me well enough to know when things were bothering me and made a point to find a way to draw it out and make me feel better. It will probably sound odd, but he was one of my best friends in high school. In addition to music, he taught me to believe in myself and do whatever I dream, because I have the talent to make my dreams come true.

Well, probably someone did in the past. I just can not remember that far right now.
