how do u paste a link in such a way that....your reference is not shown?   

Not sure if i'm understanding this the right way, but i know on AIM (aol instant messenger) you can type a link then choose what you want the words to say.... where are you trying to put the link?

No, there is no any such way. Actually, when 1st time someone send his/her link to anyone then person who opens on the referral link click on it. After clicking on referral link, u'll see that urs referral will change into main page. In this way, someone join under u but he/she does n't come to know that he/she joinned under someone. The way about u r saying is impossible.
