Do chidren stay for long time in Neopets?

I have a nephew who plays Neopets, but only for a short time. He gets tired and comes back after months. The children seem to get tired really fast. The adults like to pretend it is real money. What do you think about that?

"The adults like to pretend it is real money." I can see a lot of adult users of Neopets taking offense to that comment ... it's a fun site if you like to play games, collect things and make some new friends.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I am an adult and I play Neopets and I like to pretend it is real money. I thought the majority of the users liked to do that.

Well kids have fleeting interests so I am not surprised that they will quit after a little while. It would get boring to just do the same thing over and over when you are a little kid.

In my house both my stepson and I both play on neopets.com. He is 10 years old and can sit for hours playing it. But he likes to play any kind of games, either on the computer or playstation. For me I can only do it for a couple of hours then I get bored with it. It is definitly a lot of fun and neopets has it very safe for the kids to play there.
