I'm interested to know what people prefer to see when they go to the theatre.
Personally, I prefer musicals/ballets/dance related performances, as I find most straight plays a bit dull.
Of course, this could have something to do with my main attendance being at the local theatre productions.
Anywho, if people could tell me their favourite 'genre' of plays, and their most memorable theatre-going experience, I would be very greatful.
Last year, I went with my family to see the Lion King at the Sydney Capitol Theatre.
Not only did I fall down several flights of stairs on my way down to my seat, it was also one of the best experiences I have ever had.
The Disney movie is my favourite of all time, so to see it on stage was just incredible.
Hope to hear from some thespians ASAP!

I have to say though, My love,
you did not actually answer the question:
what kind of plays do you prefer; musical/comedic/drama/dialogue etc.
Although I do know that one and a half of said plays attended by you were musicals.

I definitely prefer musicals and musical comedies because they're more fun to watch and be a part of.

I love going to the theatre and enjoy all sorts - straight plays, farce, drama, classics, musicals, ballet, etc. I love Noises Off, Othello, She Stoops To Conquer, Corpse, Sleuth, a modern version of Dracula we saw - oh, lots! Les Miserables is my favourite musical but the first one I saw in London was Oliver! with Rowan Atkinson in it last year and that was amazing!
