Hair Products: Salon Barnd / Drug Store Brand?

I am wondering what everyone is using. Salon (more expensive) brand or drug store (more purse-friendly) brand? I tried both really expensive stuff and cheap stuff, but I guess my hair is so dry that they were not really helping me in any sense *laughs*. Now I use medium-priced natural stuff and it works really well! What about you?
