State Fair do you make sure you attend atleast one day?

We've got the Indiana State Fair going on right now. I will be going sometime before it is over. Do you have elephant ears and things at your fair? Those things are the best.

I used to but they have raised all the prices to get in and charge for everything. It used to be admission covered everything, including entertainment, but now is so expensive.

We went once or twice because my husband doesn't enjoy it much. But, once my daughter grows a little bit older, I will take her. Daddy can come if he wants, but we will go without him.

I like at least heading upto Sacramento to get one day in at the fair. One of my friends from high school is going to law school up there so it also gives us an excuse to visit him. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, we might be going for the last weekend, Labor Day weekend, because my birthday is the week before and it's an excuse to go and have a good time without having to shell out too much money. We usually have a good time; we'll go on a few rides, play some games, and mostly just walk around and check out some of the exhibits and things like that.
