Having been a graduate for a year,on the surface i have got used to it.but i am not satisfied with what i am doing. There are so many free time in the first year, before going to college i was determined to improve myself in every possible way instead of just studying well and getting praises from parents and teachers.
So i was so active in taking part in every activities i'm interested in and i think can do good to me.But when i found almost all of them are just a empty body.they just said but never took action.i felt it is a waste of time so i got retire from them.
Now i have got to the same routine as in the high school. Every day i just go from dorm to classroom and library and the canteen.Maybe sometimes taking some exercise. it is so plain and boring and tedious. After three years i will step into the cruel and competitive society.what shall i do?WHO can tell me?

Well, from what I can understand, you're a freshman in college?

Don't rush it. Just enjoy school. It may only be "so plain and boring and tidious" if you're taking up the wrong course.

You're only in first year, though it is good to be prepared for what comes after college, my best advice is just to try and learn as much as you can while you're still in it.

After graduation, you're pretty much going to be on your own. You might even miss those "so plain and boring and tidious" days.

Yes, I have graduated from college and I am currently working and taking up units for a masters degree.

Everyone's college experience is different. The most tricky part about college is choosing your course. Find your passion, and find a course that will satisfy that passion.

College is great. But it is what most people forget it is, an education. If you don't work hard in your studies, you will be miserable.
