My father was born and grew up in the district of Calinan before his family migrated back to the island of Luzon where they originally came from.
I have been to Davao City twice way back in 2001 and 2002 and admired its beauty, climate and peace and order as well as the discipline of its people. If given a chance, I'd really lpove to raise my family in Davao City.
Anybody here who is from Davao City? Be proud of your city which I consider the best city in the whole archipelago.
If you have never visited Davao City, try to explore and discover the place. Goods are cheaper, climate is better, and there are many tourist attractions to visit. Mayor Duterte is doing his job, the reason why people are disciplined.

Hello. I grew up in Davao but I am in Luzon right now. Now that I am of age, I realized that Davao City is a conducive place for kids to grow up. :)
I also love Mayor Duterte. :)

You're very lucky to have transferred to Davao City from Manila. I envy you!

I was born in Davao City and currently live here too (I went to college in Manila). Things are progressing here mainly because of good peace and order situation as compared to other mindanao cities. And yes the reason is Mayor Duterte's tough stance against criminals. He would read out aloud on TV every sunday names of criminals and warn them to leave the city before they are killed.
