| | | 2. wotfpatty (1297) | 1 year ago |  Chris was a friend of mine in WCW and one the greatest guy I ever worked with besides Eddie who was my real best friend there. Chris had been having severe depression for many, many months (actually, since Eddie died)and asked for 6 months off to deal with it in 2006. His marriage was rocky and he was hurting more and more every day from all he did to his body. He was acting weird for a few weeks or more but he was so quiet that no one really thought much of it.
He was taking testosterone for low levels because of all the steroids he did (your body stops making testosterone when you keep giving it so much synthetic stuff) but his crazy doctor was giving him 10 times what he needed. He also had been taking pain killers over the months to ease his pain. he had lost Eddie, then several close friends in a very short time and some say he cracked.
Apparently something happened and he did kill Nancy who had pain killers, anti anxiety meds, and alcohol in her system. The next day, he gave his son 11 mg of Xanax, a tranquilizer, so he would be asleep heavily and strangled him in a sort of a crossface/chokehold. Later that night he hung himself. He set bibles next to Nancy and Daniel but none next to himself.
No one on earth could have predicted this and no one will ever know why. All he had in his system were "therapeutic" amounts of testosterone and a very low level of Xanax and a pain killer. None should have made him do what he did.
No one knows what happened or why and that makes me crazy. Chris was the best in the business and a total professional. But he must have snapped or had demons no one knew about. It wasn't steroid rage because it happened over 2-3 days and he wasn't enraged since he gave his son sedatives so he wouldn't suffer. I don't think anyone will ever know the full story of what happened and why but I sure wish there was some closure...
RIP Chris, Nancy, and Daniel

She was bound by her feet and hands, no one is sure if that happened before or after but some signs lead to after like he thought she was still alive and he didn't want her to escape or something. He hung himself in his weight room on a 240 weight cable set up. There was an empty wine bottle by him but he had no alcohol in his system. So many unanswered questions. | |
