They are really pretty plants with the bamboo stalk, some can grow very tall and curvy. when you buy one you'll see a tag that will say that if you face the plant towards the east in your home it will bring good luck. I've had two of them and both of them have died due to me not being a very good plant mom and forgetting to water it after about a year and a half or so. It seems like though everytime my bamboo plants starts to die, things in my life just take a turn for bad. I am really starting to believe these plants might not be far from the truth. I am going to buy another next time i go out. Do you think these plants bring luck? Do you have a story?

I don't know about bringing good luck but they are awfully pretty. My Mom has one in her house. I also like the Bonsai trees. Have a good day!! AT PEACE WITHIN

I don't really believe that they will bring good luck, but I think they look nice. I know I'll forget to water them, though, so I've never bothered to buy any.

It´s the first time that I´ve heard that these plants might bring good luck (ignorant me, lol). I´ve got one in the living room. It´s leaves go yellow straight away if I forget to water it regularly. It looks like the tower of Pisa, no matter how many times I turn it towards the light it´s still inclined to one site. Someone told me that these are the only plants that can subsist in the shadow. I think I´m going to give it a try to see if it´ll straighten out, lol.
