What is the weirdest food you have seen deep fried?

Those both sound pretty weird to me. I don't know if I would try them or not. Actually though, the twinkies might not be much different than doughnuts... Anyway, I think that the weirdest thing that I have seen was probably deep fried macaroni and cheese wedges. They did taste pretty good, but I never would have thought of deep frying them.

I heard a lady say she always deep fries bananas. I thought that was odd but I guess only because I have never tried it. I have no desire to try this because I have a battle with my weight and I totally stay away from deep fried food.

I have heard of deep fried snickers bars. They seem to have come to our state fair the year after the fried twinkies. I have not partaken of either of these myself. For years Sonic drive in has served deep fried "Pickle O's" which is fried pickle slices. I just cannot imagine a fried candy bar.

I think something that is very common, Pork Rinds is the weirdest deep fried food around. I mean can anyone get any closer to a heart attack? And who in the world looked at the skin of a pig and said....let's fry that fat and skin up and eat it. I know, know…waste not want not, but come on. Deep frying fat? Strange, just strange, LOL.

What about deep fried bananas! I have never had one but a friend of mine has and said they arnt to bad. Deep fried oreos is another one, And my fave Deep fried Ice cream!!

my little brother went to a fair and tried both a fried twinkie and a fried oreo. he said they were AMAZING. :-D but yeah, i think that's pretty odd.... hahahaha!

Well, that is just weird in my opinion. I do not know if I would eat that food. It sounds really yucky. Thankfully, I never have seen any weird food being deep fried.

How about Mars Bars and Snickers. They have them deep fried in Scotland .

I saw a program where they deep fried a tennis shoe. Sonic use to serve deep friend dill pickles here in town it did not go over well and they are not on their menues. I do not know if Sonic sells them else where. I just watched a show that they deep friend chick peas. They made a think paste and added a breadings and friend it and put it in a sandwich. I saw it in the Discover home station.
