I think this is great. She is so young and the trophy is just a great thing to have. To the adults this is just a formality or dust catcher but to a child of her age it is a great accomplishment. She probably wants to show it off to all her friends and family. Tell her this is just the first in many to come. I am sure you are proud of her as well. I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for sharing your daughters stories with me. My daughter is past all the fun stuff. She is sixteen and we are into the I know everything and you know nothing stage. I do remember her first trophy or award that she recieved and every time you write a story it reminds me of my daughters little quarks when she was younger. Your daughter sounds so cute and she is into a lot of different things which will make her well rounded in the future. Keep doing what you are doing because it sounds like it is working.

I remember when my kids would get trophys, but the ones they are most proud of were the first place trophys where they would go to state. (They each got to go to state just once in their soccer career)..Now my 5 year old wants to play really bad, but I thought I would wait until next year..

That is so good for her self-esteem. And I love her sponsor..wish we had a Tim's here. If she turns into a jock, look out, I have 5 boxes of torphies in my attic.

Congratulations to your daughter for winning the trophy. I bet she is really happy. I guess you need to empty a shelf to put her trophy's on. It's only the beginning.:)

Hi poppoppop111! COngratulations on your daughter! Hmmm.. It made me look back on those days when I had my first trophies in sports. Oh my! I see the smiles and the pride on my parents' faces during those times, especially when I also get honors and medals in school. Wish you the best! Take care always and God bless! \(",)_

Hey, that's wonderful. Good for her!!! I love it when people get rewaded somehow for good performance. There were events at our cottage where we could win trophies; tennis tournaments, canoe races, etc. and I won a few. It was fun.
