Consistent in appearing in the Final Four since 1985, the last time it became champion, it can be remembered that the Jerry Codiñera-led Red Warriors also had a clean slate all the way to the Finals in 1986 when they were beaten by the Benjie Paras-led UP, the eventual champion.
